Buchtel qualifies for BPA National Conference

The Business Professionals of America (BPA), Ohio Association and State Leadership Conference bring together competitors, business and industry partners, advisers, and vendors to provide an opportunity for Ohio career-technical education students to showcase their development of leadership skills and career-related competencies. 

BPA enhances social awareness, civic responsibility and business community understanding. Buchtel CLC 6-8 scholars competed at the State Leadership Conference (SLC) on March 10-11 to take home the following wins: 

• 1st Place - Website Design Team - Quincy Oliphant, Michael Yoder and Joslyn Holloway
• 1st Place - Entrepreneurship Exploration - Maliah Motley
• 1st Place - Word Processing - Joslyn Holloway
• 2nd Place - Presentation Team - Joseph Snipes and Chase Nixon
• 1st Place - Digital Game Design - Pascual Stewart, Dashawn White and Dakary Ford
• 3rd Place - Word Processing - Brielle Green
• 4th Place - Word Processing - Winter Slater
