Ellet High Schools students won the city prize for Best Presentation at the recent ACE (Architecture, Construction, Engineering) Banquet held at the Tangiers on April 18, 2019. The students designed a project that encompasses the inner belt section of the highway that is slated for removal. Their design included retail space, fitness center, miniature golf, and community gardens. Students created 3d drawings, floorplans, a budget and cash flow, and topographical maps of the proposed site. The construction project came in at 34 million dollars.
Ellet students were also awarded individual scholarships at the banquet. Congratulations to:
