Earn college credit while in high school!

Students in Akron Public Schools have multiple opportunities to earn college credit while attending high school.  In addition to AP and IB courses, and articulated credit through career technical courses, students may also enroll in the College Credit Plus program and take classes online or at local college campuses.  Akron Public Schools currently works with colleges throughout northeast Ohio to provide college credit.

The College Credit Plus program will hold two parent/student information nights:

Tuesday, February 5 at 6:00 pm at East CLC
Monday, February 11 at 6:00 pm at Firestone CLC

Both information nights will be in the CLC auditoriums and will include a presentation on College Credit Plus, handouts, and updates from representatives of area colleges.

All students in grades 7 - 12 are eligible and will learn about admission requirements, dual credit offerings, tuition and benefits, and application deadlines.
